| Went after mountain quail today
and ended up with the smaller version.
I'm not worried about revealing this spot because if you know where it is then you already know there are birds there. It's also about a 3 mile hike to get there.  
One of the birds got a little too close to Madbuck22's 20 gauge loaded with Gary's special loads. 
Get out there and put your boots on the ground if you want to get birds.

hey jim were you at that spot this morning, thought you looked like a guy that was a little down the hill from me. (i'm jason, the guy that hunted with brandon last year) it looks pretty similar and there was definately quail all around me

I think the quail are everywhere this year. I have been out 3 days this week to 3 different spots and haven't been skunked yet.

only till january then i'll be jobless, yea madbuck said you had your boy with you, when i parked this morning there was 3 cars and when i left there was 10. went to another spot got there just after some guy shot a hole through the bed of his own truck, he said his safety was on he just set the gun on the tailgate and it went off CRAZY STUFF
