Brian, it's a 1961 Beretta Golden Snipe 12ga. 26" barrels. I paid $800 for it. I love it!

They are probably good bird dogs...as long as the owner is willing to put their foot in his ass once in awhile! Guess that goes for most dogs though...doesn't Jim have a dog too?

I don't know about others but Madbuck has owned 2 and they are incredible bird dogs! It definitely has a lot to do with the owner and Madbuck knows what he is doing. He trained them both and they do not disappoint in the field. Smokie (RIP) was his first and he was incredible. Charlie is only 11 months old and I can't see how he is going to get any better. That dog is amazing!!! BTW, my dog ( COCO ) is a Springer and Madbuck gave her to me about 7 years ago. Partly because he didn't have the time, or patience , for 2 dogs and also because he knew I was grieving over the loss of my Ridgeback.

Yes, they are gambrel quail. Yes, I am my own bird dog...of sorts. I just shoot the little fuckers when they are trying to run away from me! It's been awhile since I've tried to lick myself......in certain parts...I have friends now...
