Scarring my deer

I drove up the hill this afternoon to my regular spot in Laguna Rec. I saw a little silver asian car parked close to where I go. Didnt pay attention to the make and model. Parked and started in and saw a dude and a chick with a Weimaraner (silver/grey short hair dog, about 80 lbs) on the next ridge over just cruzin through the forest. No trails near by at all. Talking loud. Maybe hippies, maybe just dont know about hunting.
Just wanted to let you guys know.

I've seen them on the hill near my spot too a few weeks ago. They are hikers.

Last weekend there were a bunch of those Geo people running around looking for treasure. Wonder if they were left overs.
To bad they couldn't get those people for littering.

Had a couple come by the stand one time head down looking at their GPS. I scarred the shit out of them when I asked WTH they were doing. Should have seen their faces when a fully camoed fat guy 20' up in the air started talking to them.

Wanna really scare them? Next time you see some hippies hiking by, dig out your predator call and wail out a nice, loud, scary sounding scream. I always get a kick out of that. I've seen them turn and run away and seen chicks grab their man for protection. It's pretty funny to watch from a distance when you are well hidden, they have no idea what it is.

To not be a total asshole, I have only done this to those clueless morons who make a lot of noise while hiking. If they are causally hiking along enjoying nature in a quiet way, more power to them. But it they are making noise and talking loud, I will do my best to scare the turds out of them. Save that shit for the city. My biggest pet peave are people who go up to the mountains to make noise. They deserve to be tortured.

Better not be scarring people. Stick to scaring them. Better for your police record.

The dog was off the leash running all over the place right through a good spot. Will that keep the deer away for long?

Shouldn't bother them. Been a while.

I had a cat walk through my stand area one year an about an hour later a doe walked on the same trail.

what you should do is drop trout and let little squirts of pee on them.
