I travel for work quite a bit, so the last thing I want to do is travel more. Being able to drive an hour and hunt makes it worth it to me. Some will disagree and feel it costs too much. I have yet to go up there and NOT see deer, not all are shooters, but I always see deer.
PM me if you want more information.....
they sure dont keep their web site up to date though, showing up coming turkey hunting 2008 spring...Kind of steep yearly fee single person 3000.00

You're correct on both, it's not cheap and they don't keep their website up to date. There aren't many places left go where and shoot ground squirrels for an afternoon and run of ammo before targets, turkey are almost guaranteed (if you hunt them correctly), deer are plentiful and varmints are also there. So, to me, it's worth it. The best part is they limit the membership numbers, I never see another member out there, in fact the only time I meet and see other members is at our annual BBQ.
Just my opinion...

Bryan, tell them they need more archery only properties, and ditch the buck only rule.

I liked what I saw. I was really close to pulling the trigger. In the end, Tejon was a better deal for me (although I sure wish they had an archery deer season). If MCC was either a bit less or if they had more properties for the bowhunter, I would have been all over it.

So far (6 weeks), I've been pretty happy w/ it. Its nice to get on the hill, see deer AND NOONE ELSE. If they allowed the take of flatheads, I'd be done. I only saw 2 guys opening day deer in the parking area...4 on dove. Never stepped on toes, very easy to get on the properties. I was a WU member, but too tough down here to get to the good properties. Looking forward to gen'l deer, tho my opening day area sux. Sunday, much better.
