| Finally saw deer!
Apparenty madbuck was getting tired of me complaining about not seeing deer so, he took me to one of his secret spots tonight and lets just say that I FINALLY SAW DEER!!! I can't remember how many doe and fawns we saw 20+. On the way in we came around a corner and 3 or 4 does jumped and 1 of El Toro's spikes. I'm knocked and started to draw when I catch movement to the right. It's a BIG 2X3. I guess 40 yards and launch and went right over its back! DAMN!!! We keep on down the trail and there's at least eight doe. I MISSED AGAIN on a big fat one! It was a little longer of a shot, but I just choked! On the way out we saw 6 or 8 doe with 3 more bucks at 102 yards out. One was a 3X3, forky, and the other I couldn't tell. We get in the truck to go back to his house and saw 2 more doe.
It's going to take some time to get over the missed shots but, at least I got to fling arrows. I need to attach the range finder to my bino strap so it's easily accessible.
Thanks madbuck for the lesson! Now I think I need to go to Balboa to make SURE it was the archer and not that my sight is off (doubtful).
No pictures but, my oldest son and madbuck saw everything!
I couldn't even wait to get home to post this so I had to go to madbuck's house at the bottom of the hill.

ouch! 2 misses in a row. i hate it when the fever shows up. if you don't have a rangefinder get one . the bright side is not only did you see deer, you got 2 shots.
