Sucked ass. Very few birds and very little shooting. Looks like what was left after the opener has left the lake.

We need a new push of birds or the next few weeks are going to really suck.

I'm hoping a bunch of new birds arrive on the next full moon November 12th...

I shot Wister on the first Wednesday after the opener, got a great spot that produced well on the opening weekend with a 5th pick, and other than a bunch of teal during the first 30 minutes, the big ducks were noticably absent. The birds that were there were decoy shy and flying very high. Even Kern was tough on the third day of their season, the 11th.
