Re: Trolling lure heads

Cool! I've looked at the site before. I'm really into making lures. So much so that I run a small company doing so. Why use that ugly chrome-plated brass stuff when you can have lure heads that are works of art? I primarily sell whole lures, but I do sell only the heads if anybody wants them.

For example, some current heads I have in stock:

Re: Trolling lure heads

Just trying to contribute guys. The thread IS about trolling lure heads! Dulcecita Lures started out as a hobby and still is -- it ain't paying the bills and I still got a regular sucky daytime job and a wife that's up my ass everytime I spend another nickel on lures or lure making stuff.

The point at which it becomes a true business is when you make money at it instead of pouring money into it. And I ain't there yet by a long shot. Which sucks, because I'd love to spend my time doing nothing but designing and building lures, fishing them, going to fishing shows and tournaments, and giving away free samples of my product. Maybe someday; that's the dream.

I do sell lure heads to guys that want to do their own skirting and build their own stuff. That's exactly how I got started (or should I say, addicted?) -- by building my own stuff. Mostly because the prices I saw in Meltons and some of the other catalogs were (and still are) absolutely insane for quality resin trolling lures. I even bought some "bargain" lures off Ebay and you definitely get what you pay for - cheap shit! I'm proud of the lures and lureheads I make and sell. They're fuckin' world class, baby. I wouldn't have it any other way!

If I'm violating any BD policies, I'll be happy to delete the post. You could just as easily say the original post was pimping SNL, so what the fuck, really? It's about the fishing, dudes. If one of my lures or SNL's lures help somebody here catch Big Moe, then he's a happy motherfucker and I'm a happy motherfucker, too, reading his posts and seeing the pictures!

a bunch of Spam!

Re: Trolling lure heads

I will admit that my Dad used to make a killer Spam and greenbean casserole when we were kids! Habanero powder? Phewwww! Ring of Fire time!!

We had some tacos from a street vendor in Mexico last weekend with fresh salsa that lit us up like Christmas trees! I swear my lips burned for close to an hour and my mouth was nearly numb! Just more reason to suck down cold Dos XX!

Re: Trolling lure heads

Hey Sturat How did the trip to Rocky Point go last weekend? I talked to my Friend Ollie and he fished the J J fishing Tournament and as I understand won. Nice big fish.
I talked him into signing up with BD and he did. He has not posted yet but I look for him to do so soon.
I would like to talk to you about the Heads. I will PM you. D-J
