trolled outside today for 11 aku and one mahi taken on a saba. lots of aku piles but no ahi bites. the drill was basically troll big lures in between finding one aku pile then changing out lures to aku size lures. had an ono strike on the way in that sliced up one of the captain's favorite lures happy he was not. got down there at 0300 and just got back home at 2200 man am i tired, enjoy the pics

Damn Mikey, sure looks like you got some sun in that last pic. Long ass day on the water when it was a fucken scorcher yesterday.

Roger that- fished the Eastside three days this week, before the trades calmed down so much. Found a couple good pieces of rubbish and cleaned up- mahi about 5-7 dollars at the block right now.

Total for week 26 pieces (including a 42 lb bully), 5 ono and a couple of niiice otaru= $$$!!! Chee-hoo! Also had two marlin jump off, one was a big girl that charged the boat, and a couple more bill swats that fouled lures and knocked down the riggers. Just gotta work the outside of those aku piles- that's where we got our bully too. Pics to come later.
