Thumbs up Fish are back :)

was a regular trade windy Kaneohe start. Got out the bay around 0630. Still couldn't see the water. Winds picked up and yup definitely a normal Kaneohe fishing day. Fish seem to be coming around. Had a 20# shibi first thing then multiple other ahi rats and then a 15# mahi and lost a 25# Ono at gaff
decided to live bait the rat ahi's. Nada. for 1 1/2 hours of pounding pulling 2 live baits. Only a mercy mahi hit the spinning rod right behind the boat. He was solo. Tried to bait his buddies but no buddies around. Still back at the sandbar drinking beer by 1230. 2 mahi 45 lb's of shibi. Funny thing only 1 aku.
Good luck in the bad dad tourney. Should still have plenty fish

Right on Way to go! Were the shibi's at the bouy or in the blind? Any way right on way to get on the fish!

Was all at U bouy. Held out location because they are having a tounament today. And garrantee still have fish out at U. Had other boats pulling up rats but didn't see anything bigger come up for them. Funny thing is fish were bbitting better at a super slow troll of 3 knots. Pics to come soon.

Just went and checked the water, dang I wish the wind would let down, saw 2 trailers at the HK ramp. Victory at sea gang out today.
