Rest of the photos in that series are not as good - I got squashed like a bug a few seconds later! There are other photos out there of the ones that I made, but this one is my favorite/biggest from Sunday.

One wave spat me out so hard, that the water droplets in the spit felt like birdshot on my legs, arms and neck. Pipe may now be eclipsed by other newer and scarier breaks around the world, but it's still THE legendary Banzai Pipeline... Click the image to open in full size.
