The one pictured is 366 pounds. Sounds like there was a grander (over ,1000 pd fish) that was hooked by another team that was shark bit.

welcome to Hawaii...sometimes we kill and consume , sometimes we kill to win (as in this tournament picture) , and sometimes, even, we tag and release...

Way to go start me up and right on on the kept fish for da consuming , I hate checking out the hawaii reports and seeing some fisherman who probably have freezerburned yellowtail and such telling a person thousands of miles away in a part of the world about " conservation".... ho braddahs the Hawaiian people been practicing Kapu system since way before it was cool , fashionable or otherwise .... why dont instead you tell Local how to eat his fish go tell someone of another culture not to eat rex or spot or one garfield, eh !!!
love me some wahines catching one donkey there !!! Thanks for the original post you guys rocked it !!!
