Ho yeah, we was taking small-kine cracks that day. Was a fun day; first time I ever saw that ledge go off. We then went hunt out in the channel and found only one open school. You did the right thing and call it a half day.

That would have been a good time to have the wrap around. Thanks again for the info.

Hank, what did you build your pilot house out of - plywood or something else and where did you get the windows? I have a T-top and keep going back and forth over building a pilot house or getting an Isenglass enclosure-what made you switch to a pilot house from Isenglass? How's the pilot house for scouting/seeing birds through? I like the details on your pilothouse too like the drip edge on the roof. Nice.

Sorry one more thing-on another post you said you use the Lee's swivel rod holders and bent butts. I checked and Lee's has a regular vertical rod holder and an extra long vertical rod holder. Do you use the extra long/supposed to be better/get more of the rod in the holder? Thanks.

I had the exact same question. I just went on Lee's website and those holders would be perrfect.

We use the extra long lee swivel with all bent butts, no need shotguns, and smoother for handline imo...
