Kaneohe 7/3

Headed straight out past U to 33 miles for nothing. Found one open school outside the MM and picked up a mahi. Took a couple knock downs heading back in but no like stick -- looked like hebi or small marlin. Back to U and picked up 4 more mahis. Trolled all the way in and lost two onos. Nice day to be out on the water but not too fishy. Yellowman has been pretty elusive. Happy fourth of july!!!

Mahis were 10-13 pounds. Haven't caught a GG yet this year in Kaneohe. You going out this weekend?

I fished yesterday too. Started at the LL, ran all the way to the X. Pilot whales and choke boats. Came all the way home without even a knockdown.

Talked to a couple other boats who corraborated our experience. SLOW.

Looks like steak and chicken for me this year.

Fished yesterday. Out to pinnacle, no birds and no fish. Headed over to CO and lots of boats no fish. In to V and that was dead too. No aku piles and just a few scattered birds. Trolled the ledge to the harbor, not one bite all day. Whats up???? July and I cant even put my 10 year old on an Aku????

Wednesday, I had some pump testing to do. Went outside of Kaneohe. Got there at 4:30pm. Found birds everywhere. Had an Ono hit and brought it in. Went through the bird pile and the fun started. Mahi.... We ended up running out of daylight before we ran outof fish...
