Pretty looking stuff, Drew. I picked up on those foil wings from Ron Arkana and they were dynamite on the Mexican ono's ("Mexono's?" "Cabhoo's?" "Hulahoo's?") Other fish hit them too, but for me, the big thing was catching more ono on trolling lures. As far as I know, they are a Hawaii originated thing and I'm happy that I came across them.

Oh, and I use them, we don't sell 'em or lures with 'em.

Good stuff.

Thanks

Yeah, the bonus to most of these lures is that they have good amount of lead in them which make the slant head have some killer action. These are from Hawaii Sea Lures.

I dont have any way at this time for pictures but Steve Coggin with Coggins Big Game Lures has a mango head rig that is deadly off the short corner. Fairly large diameter lure rigged with twelve inch skirts, rigged with triple skirts in the flower pattern.

Someone may have posted this rig somewhere with the last six pages, I am just too lazy to look through all the pages

BTW this lure does not get rigged with mylar wings, dont ask me why but the boys who know know, I trusted um and they were right.

Jack

Howzit going drew. Those lures are awesome. Look on Bird's picture page on the Hawaiian Seas lures website. That cooler full of Ono and the on board box full with that same lure head you posted is mines. Goes to show you local lure head fisherman know what works.
