Weather Reports??

Hi, I'm new to the site. Its good to find a Hawaii fishing forum to get info from. I'm headed to Maui next weekend June26th and noticed that the weather forecast doesn't look to good for the next week, 30mph winds and rain ON/OFF. I've scheduled a fishing charter but was concerned about the wind. Is that a legitimate concern right now? or has it been pretty easy out there?

I'll fish in any weather or swell but we're taking the girlfriends out this trip and I don't want to ruin a good fishing day with the girls getting sick and making us all go back in.

Any recent weather and or fishing reports out of Lahaina would be great.

Brother, wind and rain that is pretty much the norm in here in Hawaii.... It all depends on which side, leeward or windward? Not to hip with Maui as to how wind affects the waters around there but I think there are still alot of parts that are fishable in a wind condition... ask Lahina Kat she can fill you in. Right now the leeward sides of the islands are not to bad.... But the weather here can change pretty quickly.... Alot of times it willl be raining on shore and 2 miles out clear as a bell.....
