Decided to get some time in before the Kamicraft days hit again. Headed out to U @ 0730. The shibi were around here and there. Picked up one 40 pounder and a few rats for kau kau. Kula Kai showed up, started baiting and hoisting fish and became the new FAD for a couple of hours, with everyone jockeying for position to take a pass on their stern. After they retired, we called it a day as well.

Nice catch. Did you catch them on the troll or jig as well?

We made a couple of drifts and did some jigging, but got only sore arms, so we put some small lines out and trolled around for the rest of the day.

Main thing get kaukau and come back safely, I love 40 pounders, good sashimi....
