only 3 more months and fishnsoldier and i should be back on island ready to do.......... boatwork!!!! ideally we will be able to get the work done in time to get a few days of fishing in before i have to take off for the mainland in jan for more work obligations, we'll see. we have rerigging and demothballing scheduled along with installation of some of the new purchases for the crazy haole. stand up belts and plates, assorted lures, hull lights for the sides and stern, a new ditch bag, epirb, throttles, blue l.e.d. rope lighting and radar. plenty to keep us busy. hell even the dog is looking forward to us coming back!!!

Right on Mike, looks like some nice gear for the boat - make sure you guys make time to go fishing while your home. If no can on your boat let me know you guys can always go fish hunting on my doodoo ride. Gotta get a review of the Lowrance radar after the install, looks nice. Hope you guys have a good Independence Day and thanks again for your service to our country.

I only have one question,you live in the islands where great lures are made. Why would you buy all that Moldcraft?

i have a plethora of local made and rigged lures. i'm prepping for marlins in november and december. not to mention moldcraft works. may not win any points at a cool guy fashion show, but they put fish on the deck.

gonna give it a good whirl, i think fishnsoldier is gonna be moved off the island, so its kind of important to maximize all the fishing we can get.

what is that white colored LED light bar that has a bunch of em on it?....who makes it ?....Thats not Ocean is it ?

Never seen one with so many LED's.....bitchin!

Check sportfisherman.com. A couple years back had this guy custom making it for his clients on that site. All different colors made by him. I even seen half blue half green l.e.d combo that looked trippy as hell. Red didn't work and white lit the entire ocean up. I wanted to do that for Opelu but I my boats a daytime troller not a night time drifter.

CoastalNightLights.com not as spendy as the oceans and not as low profile so they are going on the stern facing aft. they also make some bitchen led spreaders for your deck.
