The food really was amazing. Fresh to the point of some of it being still alive!
Parts of hong Kong are very dirty and polluted. A good urban density example but the people are very well behaved. Public transportation is excellent. Diesel City!

I couldn't agree with you more. HK should be a destination for anybody that likes electronic gadgets and food. Huge extremes of ridiculously wealthy and the destitute. Looks to be a fun place for an engineer or architect to make a few bucks here and there. Thanks for the slide show. I'd sure love to run off with that tub of live geoduck and a bottle of soy sauce.

Hi Kris.
I took over 1000 photos and almost 100 videos. I own a CAD firm in Seattle and have been in construction since 1974. I took 100's of building photos and such. I cant help but walk into a place and notice all the Mech-Elec-Plumb (MEP) installations. I will update you with building pics after I get through them all.

Re: China - Hong Kong - Macau - Lamma Island - Lan Tau Island

I once sat down at a sushi bar next to a fluent Japanese speaker. We were both ordering the same things so we started talking. Turned out he was an architect for the firm that designed the towers at Kuala Lumpur, and the huge high rise in your photo of HK island from the Kowloon side, just east of the tiny port authority building toward Central. I'm assuming you liked walking through the new airport and the Island subway line. Three trains a minute during rush hour and they are all standing room only!
