It was my first time going to the swapmeet. Some junk but your have to dig through it al to find the good stuff. I dropped 200 bucks. on some irons and a avet reel along with a 800m. The rd needs a little work but it is what it is. I got their about 830 and most of it was picked through. I thik next time i will try to get their earlier..

I live a few blocks away from them and try to get down there every month to see whats there. I have spent my fair share there on some great deals! Trick is to get there early. I try to get there between 8 & 8:30. The best deals go quick! I hope the swap meets bring new business into the store as well. The folks that run J&T are great! I think their swap meet is a great idea and the fact that they dont charge vendors is pretty cool too!

Well, Ive last time I just went, thats my 3rd time.
It was the best so far.
realistically, you want to be there @ 7am.
Most sellers get there around 5 am, and buy all the good stuff from each other, then resell it

Need some cheese to go with your wine???

I dont see this as spam. J&T doesnt make a dime on the swap meet.. Its a great opportunity for us fishing folks to get great deals from private parties just like at a swap meet only its free not only to the attendees but also the vendors. Its also a great opportunity for us fishing folks with too much gear to find new homes for some of that stuff with cash in return. Its win win for everybody and I cant think of a better place for them to post to let us know. These threads drop down the totum pole and if a new thread gets peoples attention, than so be it. Keep em coming because there are great deals that people can take advantage of there and I am sure that most people are not even aware of this monthly swap meet.
