So I go up to Lake Wohlford yesterday to take my toon out on a shake down. The lake is way low and it's a small lake to begin with. So I'm drifting along with the wind on the south shore. There is a guy in a bass boat drifting along behind me at a respectiful distance. Nice rotation. I had seen this private aluminum boat anchored about 75 yards off shore at the inlet end of the lake and he has been there for at least 45 minutes. Well all of a sudden he starts up his motor and cruises up right next to me and stops. He gets out a rod rigged with what looked like a CastMaster spoon. He starts casting all over the place and shouting "Don't cut me off or I'll cast on ya".

By this time the bass boat catches up to where I am and we try to go around this guy. He then points out that "he has been working this whole area" which consisted of about 5 acres of lake and the entire inlet end of the lake. Now the guy starts to back up his boat to force us out even further and sucks his Cast Master rig right into his prop.
I hope he enjoyed the 30 or 40 minutes that he was trying to clear his porp as much as I enjoyed watching him!

I'm still laughing at him.
He should take up another sport like hand granade juggling and while he is at it, look up the definition for sportsmanship.
And the best part was when he got back to the dock someone asked if he caught anything and he was skunked. I guess he really worked that spot.

I was certainly impressed.
