Nice fish! this area is very special and holds some real brutes. Stop by the shop next time when your in the area and make sure to check out my 8 pound rainbow trout (Matuka) and say Hi.

Where is your shop located???

Hey Lenny,
I don't want to speak for Joe, but his shop is just across the street from the Fitter in the same shopping center that the Trout Fly was in. Just a few doors to the right. You can't miss it. At least that's where it was last time I was up there.

hot creek ranch is private, dry fly only.
that's where i started my fly fishing.
but below the ranch all the way to the owens,
anyone can fish with a fly, any fly.
great place to fish.
looks like most of the big fish are coming from
below the hot springs,
never did fish that part.
i fished from the ranch to the hot springs.
