Lake Crowley, Da Goose and Crowley Dog

Just got a message from Da Goose, him and Rich (Crowley Dog) are up there for the week, float tubing and fly fishing on their hand tied fly's.

Tuesday it snowed.

Been catching a couple of nice ones every day.

Rick's largest Brown so far is 21". Rich's largest is a 24" Brown.

They will hopefully post a report on the weeks fishing when thay get back.

Said a storm is supossed to come in on Saturday, they may leave early depending on the weather.

Just got back last night and I will try to get a report out today. I've got to get the pics developed.

We ended up fishing Crowley all 7 days (minus a snow day). It's really hard to leave those fish and go try somewhere else when things are working. DaGoose and I fished furled exclusively and we both loved them! I started with a 2# flouro with kevlar and it was really great, but grabs were somewhat slow so I switched to 2# flouro only for the low vis. I really don't think it made that much difference though. As far as how many fish, well we started trying to keep count of legal (18") or bigger fish but we lost count because there were alot of 18" clone kamloops which are really great fun by the way. All three of us had at least 4 or 5 fish 20" and over though.

P.S. DaGoose (aka DaPerchMaster) can attest to how well the furled worked on the perch.

More later,
Rich

Mwahhhahaha, I have created a MONSTER. I can't wait to see the pixs, by the way, they came out with this thing called a DIGITAL CAMERA, that allowes you to down load pictures REAL fast.

Doh...If you only knew how many nice cameras I've drenched. One hour photo is way cheaper in the long run.
