Crowley II

Went back up this morning. Fishing was much better and there were a lot less people. Only 2 other boats and a couple of tubes at Sand point and only 1 boat at Green Banks. Had a total of 20 trout for me and 10 for my partner with the biggest an 18" post spawn fish returning from Big Springs. All of the others were in the 12" range but super fat. You can't get your hand around them. Caught a lot of them with the top fly about 2 ft off of the bottom. Red/blk and Silver/blk the hot ticket for me. The weather is fantastic (80 degrees) right now with just a very light wind. A person could do much better if they stayed all day. I left at 1pm. If you go soon, start in about 11ft of water and go slightly deeper (12-13) as the day warms up....hronk
