Steelheader, Montanaman and Corbinaman hit the Clearwater last week. Fishing out of Orofino. Huge fish. We got them on nymph, swinging flys on the surface, plugs, etc.
Montanaman scored the hugest fish at 37" and 17 lbs. Others were in the 10-15 lb range.
Stayed at the Riverside Motel. Very nice people and Russ guided us the first day.
Fished with Kip fromt he Guideshop the other day. Swinging flys on spey rods. Surface action.
Outstanding!
Steelhead are one of my favorites, been searching for that elusive 20 for a long time.
Working on a trip to a buddies in WA for later next month, thanks for the encouragement.
