Huge brookie from Kirman

Had one of our best trips ever up to Crowley/Kirman this year. Fishing was awesome with almost all big fish!!! Barely any fish caught under 16" and some up to 24". Took alot of newbies up this year to teach fly fishing too and they all caught a few fish with a couple big ones. The ones that already knew what to do caught about 15 fish a daywith almost all 18" or bigger and we lost bigger ones. I lost about a 7lb brown right next to the tube! Dont know what else to say so I will let the pictures tell the story.

Yes all fish were caught stripping streamers in Mcgee and the Owens. The midge bite is NOT happening at all really. If you want some big fish go strip some streamers with full sink line.

Brandon you gotta plan a trip with us sometime and go with us. I have all the extra stuff you need and we can get you and the little one on some fish forsure. We took 4 first timers this time and they all caught a couple fish.

Gotta make this happen some time.
I was thinking about you a week and half ago when we went by there.

A lot of boats and tubes at the North/East end of the lake, it looked like they had the trout corraled up

Too bad no one was around to take pics of me, just the opposite! Oh if anyone finds a rod on the bottom of McGee it might be mine! I will describe it to a "T" just let me know. Kirman was the best I've ever experienced with a nice 22" cutt' to top it off. Thanks for posting cause I wasn't in the mood!
