Henrys Lake. Finally!

Fished Henrys on Thursday and had an awesome day! We didn't catch a whole lot but we did catch some good fish. I finally got a big one this year and I am so pumped! It was between nine and ten pounds and was super pretty.

Using a variety of darker leeches.

I am here and the weather has changed for the worse! Got out for a couple of hours this morning with blue skies and surprisingly warm. But, 11:30 a.m. wind started howling so we got off the lake and headed to West Yellowstone to just shop and have early dinner.
Hooked 4 this morning however. Not big for this lake but still fun. 18" to 22".
Still four more days.
I am meeting up with Everet tomorrow...wish us luck!

FG

When I came through this afternoon it was cloudy and windy. By the time we got off the Ashton hill is was cloudy, windy, the temp had dropped 15 degrees and it was pouring. Good luck tomorrow.

Got blown off again today but also very wet and cold. Alan did hook an easy 30+. We had him right buy the boat but F**KED the dog trying to net it and it broke off....DAMIT!
Would like to try again in a few hours, but have to see what the weather says. Got a couple more days, but it is not looking like a great week up here.
I can stand the rain with problemo, but icie rain and bad wind...fagetaboutit.

Joni, whats up? Fishing wasn't too fun today that weather was awful. Did you get my voice message? Are you gonna fish henrys tomorrow? Wednesday? I want to actually fish with you guys. I will come up whenever. It was way too hard to kick in that wind or I woulda came over.

Anyway let me know when your gonna hit it again!
