Sage VS Gatti

Ok, Ive been browsing around on other forums and cant seem to get a strait answer. Im looking to build a nice fly rod for a family friend and am looking to build a rod in the mid range. Nothign to expensive but not on the bottom end either. People keep telling me to go with a Gatti G4 but are not able to give me an opinion on whether or not it compares to a Sage VT2. What do you guys think? The rod is going to be a 9ft 5wt for fishing the Eastern Sierra

my advice is to go with the sage VT2 or the Echo 2 because I know they both cast very well. I would not recomend the gatti G4 because my friend made one this past year and on his second trip it broke into four piece while fighting a fish right next to me..
