Hey Cory, was just up there(Mammoth) flows pretty light, and the water temp was pretty warm. If I was going to the eastern sierra I would hit the e. walker it was on fire last week.

Go to the Rock Creek Resort up by the lake. Get some of their home made pie, and get the up to date dope on the fishing. Make some time and fish Mosquito Flats. Bring your camera and you wont be sorry.

I am taking my family up there on the 18th also. We are staying at the E.Fork camp ground for a couple of days and then heading up to Bridgeport for a couple more.

I would have to say to avoid the E. Walker. I just came back and the water is very dirty and quite warm. Not much going on the dry except for small fish but nymphing is proving most succesful. If you do head that way give it a go with caddis puppa patterns and see what happens. If you are in Mammoth, hit the Upper Owens. Fish are chewing pretty good on CDC caddis and hairs ears.
