No more double haul in the fall. At least not this year. We've done well as a group the last three years and now they're changing format to include all styles of trout fishing at many different lakes. Sounds fun but I'm gonna miss El Double-O. Guys this is for real and I would really encourage calling Bill Hutchinson if you and your friends were going to still fish it. Since I talked to him the last week my friend talked to him yesterday and now they are saying it is up in the air cuz now they are getting calls about it! So if you want it to still happen call Bill so they get some feedback!

Not to happy right now........ but it looks as W.O.N is going to cancel the Double-Haul this year. Just got off the phone with Bill Hutchinson and he said as of right now they are not going to have it!!! He said something about they dont think people are going to come and fish it because of gas prices. Well it seems like they would have an article on it somewhere to see what the feedback is on who would still come. I know everyone I know was still going plus a few more and thats about 15 people so who knows.
If you were planning on going I would give Bill a call so they can get some feedback and not cancel it due to thinking people might not show.

I was going to ask the same thing ,I think it is using 2 flies
Its all about gas prices and thinking people arent going to show up to fish it, thats what he has pretty much told me and friends. He sounded really surprised when I told him we had about 15 people fishing it this year and everyone else I know was still going to fish it.
