Is it possible to successfully catch fish from the shore at Poway lake? All the reports I see show people using boats. When I used to fish Lake Jennings we always did good from the shore. Thanks.
yup past seasons EZ limits on shore. just got to stick it out for a couple hours. BUT this season fished twice on shore and skunked both times. Haven't been there for bout 1 week, but who knows. When I went it was CROWDED!!!!!!@

Most of the shore fishing is closed after the fires - the only areas that are open are the small stretch of shore by the dam and the shoreline from the fishing pier to the first cove (about 300 yds) - the rest of the entire lake has floating sediment containment "sausages" about 8' off the shore and is totally off-limits.
