anyone been fishing diamond valley lake recently? if so do you have a report. thinking about fishing the lake on 12/20. i have only fished that lake once. going to fish for stripers and trout.any 411 would be great.

I never saw the first post either. In light of the Derby on New Years:

Most recent for me was early November. I committed to throwing a big azz swimbait all day (Huddleston). Got hit a couple times, but I did nada. Skunked. All part of the risk-reward when you're chucking a 10" swimbait in freshwater.

My Bro and his kid in the OTHER boat were kinda quiet on the radio all day till we got to the ramp (We had a little wager going). This is why: Two fives and two eights. Deadsticking Carolina Rigs. They were totally gorged on shad. I mean packed. Layer of fat around the abdominal cavity. Tasted great, too. Man that is some clean water.
