Anyone ever fish RSM lake?

I hear there's bass in there.

haven't fished it in awhile, but my wife and I walk around it all the time, just last week the lake seemed to be on fire, one kid caught a nice large mouth and saw another with a nice size cat. There's also a ton of bluegill in there. I know they stocked it on May 19 for the fishing derby and then again on Nov.10...please don't tell anybody.

I go by there sometimes to kill a few minutes now and then. White spinnerbaits work well. If you are into night fishing I have about 3 or4 lakes I fish with a buddy almost every night.

ive personaly caught 3 five pound bass off a flylined bluegill and a 9 pound catfish off hot dogs but be prepared becuse it is slow most of the time.

my buddy lives near there,white day and night. 4"senkos;pumpkin seed ,blues&purples,white 3"ers skimmed along the top.no shit make a "V" on top of the water when the shad are bustin' .try it at other places too.or you could be 12 years again and go the bluegill way to catch the green ass bitches.it gets the big'uns the "old fashioned" way.what ever,i'm babbling again.late.greg in the 1904.

I fish there all the time. What i have found works best is a black and yellow spinner bait for the bass and use hot dogs for the catfish. Sometimes there is some fatty karp lurking around. Throw some big chunks of bread out and see if they will come.

Bring a chair and a flask (hidden of course!). I have seen nightcrawlers work but you will get the big bass off gold fish or live blue gill. Have seen a few guys fly for Carp and catch a few biggies. Mostly its slow with some good eye candy around for their workout!
