Anyone planning on fishing Lake Crowley on opening day? I'm planning on getting my dock space reservation come the new year. Usually we troll around but any other tips gladly appreciated.

We will be there as we have for the past 13 years. I think we have 4 boats going this year. Keep in touch as it gets closer and lets see if we can hook up.
flyline a crawler/ with a split shot to keep it down and slowly drift.the browntrout love it .they hit crawlers better than lures. rainbows will hit anything
Thanks for the info.This website is great for people like me who work outta' state most the year. I'd be into hooking up with some fellow BD members up at Crowley. I plan to trailer the boat up on Thursday the 26th and will fish for several days.The last time I went was a blast.
Nice fish Scott. I'm totally stoked to see that quite a few group members are headed up to Crowley. I haven't been able to make the opener for a few years cause of work(I know, lame excuse).But I am making sure I got time off this year. I'm sending my dock fees in next week. I plan to spend the better part of a week up there. Will probably fish some of the streams and the Owens(water level permitting) as well. It'll be great to be able to hook up with some BD members during the Opener. Gimme' a shout sometime! Later......
