Fished yesterday and today with decent fishing. I take it you're in a boat. Try trolling slooowwwww. Wobblers (like needlefish and dick nite spoons) are getting bit much better than rapalas right now (at least for me) about 10 feet down. Fish seem more willing to bite until about 1 then someone flips the switch. Haven't been out in the evening so can't say if it turns back on again. Holdovers have started biting a little better (like 1 in 3 fish was a nice holdover for me the past two days) and I even caught one of the fish planted for the Classic held last weekend that went 4 lb 10 oz. Quite a few short bites but managed to scratch out over a dozen both days. Here's the dope...troll bouy lines to 100 yds outside the bouy lines. The main channel sucks right now. Good luck, Scott

Great info Scott.

I've always done good outside the bouys with a Black & White needle fish. Troll one way back and one with a 1 1/2 oz sinker above a swivel and about 4 ft. of 4 lb leader to get it down.
