i decided to take the late xmas gifts to the lake employees this am and make a day of it with the kids in the park , i guess it would also be safe to say i was on a scouting mission ( NOT A FISHING EXPEDITION)
please allow me to preface this by saying i love it when this shit happens

:FU: :FU: :FU:
it never fails to amaze me how many people have a
TOTAL LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ABILITY TO CATCH A FISH
SO WHAT HAPPENED : as you can probably guess the lake recv'd a load of fish last night and i am sure that several hours b4 the gates opened the HEAVY crowds started lining up in anticaption of a WFO bite on freshly stocked fish,
all the people that have a
TOTAL LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ABILITY TO CATCH A FISH
figuring they would show up with secrets under their belt & show the world what quality fishermen they are , fishing in a small 44 acre lake that just dumped 5000 # of fish
( the potential to become a hero and gloat/brag about their fishing expertise )
well as luck would have it the place was wall to wall people every boat rented as well as a waiting list 4 a rental boat , 50-60 tubers, the shore line packed with people shoulder 2 shoulder.
EVERY ONE OF THEM EXPECTING TODAY WOULD BE THE DAY

!!!!!
WELL AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT :
the fish didnt want to play,
i saw many people leaving with empty stringers and baskets , while i was walking the shore line @ 12.30-1.30 most people had nothing some had 1 or 2 and one lady stated "they must have fed them after the stocking so they wouldnt be hungry & get caught"
for all those that wish to chase a freaking stocking truck
maybe you should have more
CONFIDENCE IN YOUR ABILITY TO CATCH A FISH
(show up next week and allow me to school you ) take some pride in you ability and stop chasing a truck full of fish
today was a piece of HUMBLE PIE for all those that decided to chase the truck, i hope you can swallow it
sorry i dont want to be offensive but i am tired of reading about guys who inquire about stocking days and then pound a body of water and brag /gloat about how great of a fisherperson they are
