Lake Skinner is being drawn down to get ready for the earthquake retro on the dam. Dominagoni is the place to be if your going out there

I thought that was Perris that was drawing down the water.

unless you are four stroke, or 2006 EPA cerified two stroke (2001 or newer), you cannot go on Skinner or DVL........
My 01 striper 2101 was on DVL MANY times, but had the 2001 FICHT, '06 EPA sticker, so it passed inspection. The biggest problem with the striper on the reservoirs is drifting close to shore, it is usually windy, and an electric trolling motor is almost a must up there.

your Ocean pro will not be allowed on skinner or DVL. However, they do have really decent rentals......and i believe 50% off on Wednesdays.
try www.dvmarina.com
or this for requirements...... http://www.dvlake.com/inspection03.html
would suck to go and wait in line only to be told no.

Yeah, your right, their bluestoning the shit out of it right now. My opinion on skinner is: I used to work at the water plant there and since then they have put screens over the influent to keep the pesky stripers out(which is why most go there ), but they consider them a bad fish cause they eat the trout that they PAY to put in there. The bass population is low. They go too long between trout/catfish plants. It just seems like they are trying to phase out fishing there.
