Going to be land locked this weekend so i figured i might check out lake irvine and fish from the shore or rent a little boat. any reports from there or any surrounding lakes like Corona lakes, Castaic. or should i avoid them due to the holiday weekend?
Heard there is shad at Castaic in the back coves with bass and stripers feeding on them. Take your shad net or rattle trap crank baits. There was a very large trout plant Monday in the upper and lower lake. Should be a zoo this weekend. If you don't get there in line early (6 a.m.) you might not get in till later.
