Heading to Mammoth for openers

Hi guys,

I am heading up to mammoth for the Sierra trout opener. Any BD members going or have any suggestions where to fish on the opener. Not bringing the boat and will probably fish opening morning at Convict.

let me know if your going and we can hook up- literally

It's going to be cold man, take yor long johns.

Good luck up there, wish I could go, to much to do.

I'd go a little farther north and get away from the hords of people that are going to be up there this weekend. The farther north you go, the less the people.

You guy's that are going up, check the UT, Ed Z's report on the opener, its pretty good and will give yu an idea of whats going on. 9,000-10,000 expected to fish Crowley on the opener.

My opinion, go north man, get away from all the people.

The Owens River is to fast to fish, If I were going to have to stay around the Bishop area, I would head for Intake Two, or Bishop Creek, but there still will be a lot of people in that area.

You can also try Hat Creek, or Rush Creek. Should be good there.

Good luck, I'm waiting for a couple of weeks.
