Fishing Lake San Antonio

Me and alkire949 are heading to Lake San Antonio on the 27th for 5 days. Has anyone ever fished that lake lately?? We won't have a motor boat, but we will have a couple of Yaks!!! Just looking for some good spots----Stripers maybe----Secret bait to use---I know that there is some live bait to be purchased there. fish?:

You one lucky fuckin dude

I hear the stripers at san antone are fuckin insane. It is a big ass lake if my memory serves me correct. The stripers actually hit on the troll there too. It is pretty good trolling too; and I would do that so you can narrow your search down. The smallmouth and largemouth action is pretty sick there too. You are timing it perfect dude. They also have some epic crappie action, mmmmm. Hey, when you get back, gimme the lowdown on how it is. I have always wanted to take the boat up there. Good luck dude.
