I found the hottest selling item at FH shows

Met Jeff of albackore at the FH show. He came out with a little piece of plastic called the drop shot stopper. http://www.dropshotstopper.com
He was almost out of them and this was only Thursday of the FH show!
It's one of those inventions that I would never think of. It works well for stowing lines away neatly and quickly.
If you are going to the FH show stop by albackore and say hi to Jeff. He's a member of BD too!

Thats cool. Looks like you could use that for any rig where the weights at the bottom like a dropper loop.

I need to get creative like that and make some money.

That is genius!!!
That guy is going to make money...
Shit like that is simple yet no one thinks of it...
If he got the trademark for it and got it patent, he is in for some $$$...

I have an idea or invention but not sure it will fly...

I forgot to get one with yah... You should give me one.

Very practical and useful tool. Its little things like this that can really make life easier.

For drop shot bass fisherman this is a ideal and very practical and boy is it a great value. Especially when fishing tournaments as time is of the essence and who needs to detangle a splitty that has now wrapped all around your line and rod. Waist of time. Also just a bass jig can be secured instead of using the arch of a guide or reel seat. Atleast it appears that way.

Like Joe said there are many different applications and I bet it would work great for dropper loops that are not real spread out instead of having to wrap the sinker around your reel handle, might need to be more beefy for heavy lead. I also think with a slight change in design you could make one for jigs, swimmy's, iron, ect so your reel does not get boat rash. I secure my iron and swimmys on my reel seat and it scratches up my shiny gold reels.

Also this really caught my attention and if Jeff puts it into production Iam getting one for sure. He had a sample of his Albackore pack in camouflage. Really looked cool. I must have one. Camo.....

I wish Jeff the the very best. In fact dang I got a really good idea for a new tool for slow trolling crawlers. Might need to chat with him.
