Believe it or not, its true!!!!

Let me start off by telling you what happened 2 years ago. My friends brother being a city worker has keys to lake which is private and is not used for fishing. Its a lake used to generate power through cycling water. I have hunted around this lake but never fished it until 2 years ago. Its private and yes it is tresspassing. 2 Years ago we slipped under a barbed wire fence with Storm swim baits and frozen anchovies. My buddy caught 3 stipers pushing 10lbs + and 2 largemouth easily over 5lbs. I personally was using 8lb line like an idiot and saw these monster 10lbs + stripers eat my bait in like 4 ft of water and rip my drag to pieces and pop off. The baits were gone in like 10-15 min. So we then rig up with anchovies. Luckily my bait casting set up had 12lb line and I actually had a chance. Within minutes we were both hooked up on 5lb + catfish. Then the next baits produced massive stipers. So my buddy and I after 20 min of wide open monster bass and catfishing are looking at each other in complete disbelief. Security kicked us out shortly after. We didnt take pics, and I have only shared this with those who know and would believe.

Now come Sunday 11/1/09, two years after this nightmare of a reality bite, we return. I brought 25lb test and my salt water rod (Calstar). Becuase this time, we brought 5 inch and 7 inch big hammer swim baits, bigger storm baits and more frozen anchovies and night crawlers. We knew what was going to happen, we just didnt know how much time we had to before we got kicked out. The swim baits hit the water, and these schooling stipers just ripped these baits to hell. All fish again were at the very smallest 5lbs. I shit you not, its a nightmare and being in heaven at the same time. We ended up fishing for two full hours before we saw the DFG following in some hunters so we got out of there. Within those two hours, my rod was slammed so hard with these cats and these large mouth and these stipers just slamming the artificial and bait. Guy's, its scary and its real. I am going to take pics next time which should be in a week and I will re-post. Its a privelage and even my best of fishing friends cant fish this lake. Its just for fun, we dont want to get in trouble with security or DFG, thats the last thing we want. We hunt around there and every year or so we sneak in the rods for minutes of historical fishing. Just imagine guys, these fish never seen artificial baits in there life. If you released like 4lb rainbow trout in there, it would get eaten within minutes completely whole. Anyway's this place does exist, and I think its the most premiere fishery a man could throw a bait at. Fresh water wise. Scary guys.

I've Ninjad before. So I'm not gonna say anything negative about the situation. But it's the old saying, "What if everyone did it?" It would create problems. It's more about the liability. Everyone likes to sue when they do something stupid.

The only mistake the guy made was posting about it. Everyone of us has done something like this whether it's on a golf course or private pond. Some guys just can't keep a good thing to themselves.
