You are the man . Capt G...It seems you have fished everywhere for everything . I like your style . Even if you do suck at fishing . ROFL If you are around So Cal this spring , hit me up for a trip to the Vine . We can drop shot for bass and then troll/cast for monster trout . Should be an incredible bass year due to the high water levels since last spring . Not too many big bass, but good numbers .

Gonna have to try those black jerk baits this season for the browns . I remember you mentioning that last season on a thread about the Vine .

My kid digs trolling that place. Even with the mangled tails it can be fun with 4lb. I especially like it when he say's "Oh shit...!" when he gets hammered while holding the rod. Good times...

Exactly!!!!

FKG enjoys the day cruising around the lake waiting for the rod to get bent, and if it doesn't get bent too many times.... well, there's always next time.

I may be there..... depends on how this remodel ends up.
I have company flying in from Illinois on 11/27.
Zilla is gonna want the casa put back together before they get here.

Please tell me its your sister. That should make great material for some classic "saluki posts"

the lake has started to be primed for the opener. they have been putting fish in the last 2 nights! water is still a little warm 66-68 deg. the water in the truck was 65deg so not to bad of a temp difference.
