Ronson "Catmando" Smothers did it again last night, and nailed a 59.8 pound blue cat at Irvine Lake on mackerel.
Didn't want to put up a commercial link, but photo is on the Irvine Lake home page.

Ronson will be competing against the rest of the "King of the Cats" tournament qualifiers today at Irvine Lake. The entrants names can be seen on the "King of the Cats" link at Irvine's website.
Once the big cats start biting real well they switch to winter hours 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Or once they switch to winter hours the big cats start biting. One way or the other, who cares?
I haven't gone catfishing once this season. The saltwater is way more fun.
