The trout opener is the same as any other lake. A complete joke!! They will stock the same amount of fish every other week during the season so what's the rush? It seemed anglers got in line last year probably at midnight. All the boat rentals were gone within the first 30-60 minutes. The next available boat was a 4 hour wait. Last years opener was a bust. 90% of the fish died after a converter (or something) went out on the truck. The truck was stuck in Utah for 24 hours until the issue was fixed. It was my first LMV trout opener in 6 years. I'll wait until the day after Thanksgiving. Fishing is good,the lake is very quiet, peaceful, and everybody else is out shopping.
