I like toplining flatfish/kwikfish myself, k5-9, especially the rainbow trout or chrome/chartreuse colors.
Hey how's Corona Lake? Run by the same ppl as Irvine I think, and their first trout plant is this coming thurs. the 15th. Any info???

Corona is not run by the same management company as Irvine. Corona and Santa Ana river lakes are run by the same management company. Corona is a bit smaller than irvine and can be very difficult to troll on when the are busy. More often than not the mini jigs and power worms work well for me there. As for power bait fishing...like most lakes it can be off the hooks for quanity.....but I fish for quality.

I heard Corona Lake is not letting private boats on the water this year, get there early for one of the few boats they have

This is true, and the same goes to Santa Ana River Lakes.
