DVL: If you're new to the lake, target 25 - 35 feet of water on the secondary points and main lake points using a drop shot with 6" robo worms (MM III or morning dawn are traditionally decent colors). Fishing the dams are also a good bet. Early morning, you can also try pitching senko's in cover (wacky rig any of the natural colors like green/watermelon or pumpkin seed). This should be a good start and always catches me fish this time of year at DVL.....

Caught 9 on Poway last Friday. All on 6 inch robo worms (sexy shad color). Biggest was 8lbs. Caught 7 in the morning last bite was at noon then nothing for 4 hours. Then picked up two more.

By boat on DVL you mean rental right? No launching yet due to low water.

Thanks for the info man I really appreciate it I don't normally fish for bass from boat but I'm going with my girlfriend and a couple of friends so we decided to just rent a boat but I was wondering if all these spots are accessable from shore? I live pretty close by and from what I've heard its a great lake and I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of fishing there the rest of summer.

Thanks for the help! Which spots did you have the most luck?

Yes I mean rental, I don't usually like fishing from boat in lakes anyway but I'm going with some friends. But when launching is available feel free to take me with you anytime
