Fishing there for the first time in about a week and a half. Going to rent a boat though since they won't allow outside boats on the lake. Any good tips for what to use for some of the bass out there? Where they tend to congregate? All the fish here are good to eat, right?
around the marina and east dam theres a lot of shad that the bass are keying on. dont eat the largemouth. if you want eating fish go to any cove and fish with waxworms. youll have a bluegill fiesta
Havent been there in a month but we did good throwing topwater in the moring. Seems like alot more fish are holding on the west side of the coves. There is alot of vegitation growing up on these areas. After the topwater bit went down we threw 6 inch robo worms in sexy shad color. Then in the afternoon we threw frogs over any thick week mats. And almost got hit almost every mat. It got really windy and whitecaps so we left early.
