You're so low wattage they knew you would be of no influence or effect. It's how they contain the fishermen. In that regard, you truly are a representative.

Ha! That pic is hilarious!
I know that the rebel isn't the ideal motorcycle for this kind of trip... but I got it for freaking cheap with only 86 miles on it. So it will have to do. I am planning on going on the smaller highways so I don't have go too fast

BTW, Eddie at BP mentioned that a certain fishing group kicked his ass out too. I may be an ass, but Eddie?

Jeff, I'd highly suggest you fish the Owyhee River in Eastern Oregon, just over the border from Boise, Idaho. Perhaps the premier brown trout fly fishery in the lower 48: http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/fr...080-big-o.html (The Big O)
Big browns on dry flies. Doesn't get any better. If you need some guidance, let me know. I'll hook you up.
Steve

I don't know shit about fresh water fishing, but I had some INCREDIBLE fishing for big rainbows and browns a few years ago when I stayed in Dillon Colorado. All of the streams were holding.
Good luck and have a safe trip!

Steve - I am sold on the Owyhee. I put it on my list of places to definitely go.
I keep going back and forth about whether I am going to CO or not, but if I do I will check out Dillon. It's possible I will be taking a more northern route though. We'll see.
What part of CA are you in marlyn?

southern california and my shop is set up for bikes so you can do a service on your bike and then well hit the islands,i still say you better do an exploratory trip closer to home first though, have you even tried loading that thing up yet?you better weigh about a hundred pounds and all your gear better fit in a small pack.I love adventure but your setting yourself up for problems, try a few long runs closer to home first!
