| Golf Course amd small pond fishing (LM Bass)
Ok, so I've heard that there are some 4-5 pounders at Oak Creek GC in Irvine, some 2-3 pounders at El Dorado GC. Also Tewinkle Park in Costa Mesa has produced some 2 pounders as well. Anyone else got some info, I figured best to share it here because I've become a LM fishing junkie lately and want to catch more than just grass and twigs. POST AWAY!!

Try Santa Ana Country Club. Loaded with bass. If your looking for lunkers, try Green River GC off the 91. The ponds on the Riverside course, way back in the back have some large bass. Well, they did about 15 years ago when I fished them.
Teawinkle has some smaller bass, but they're very skittish. My buddy had good luck fly fishing there. I also got a 5 pounder out of a tiny pond on the Baker golf course at miles square park.

I used to fish Coto De Caza g.c. all the time several years ago for lunkers, but you had to watch out for the asshole golfers who thaught it was funny to drive there balls as close to you as possible. Shortly after they posted no fishing signs which made it just that much more challenging. Good luck & don't get caught!

Dont know what lakes you used to fish Fred but if you give the golfers space they give you space. I used to use a top water frog this time a year and get about 15 fish a night all 2 to 3 pounders.

I used to fish Whispering Palms GC in Del Mar when I was I a kid around 25 years ago. Wasn't uncommon to get 15 to 20 a night 2 to 3 pounders some to 5.
