Vine this Friday. Any tips appreciated.

I haven't been to Irvine Lake for a year so I guess what I'm looking for is an update.
We have two lead-core trollers. Should we try'em or just do the power bait or crawlers on light test?
We will be fishing out of our 12' Livingston.
Thanks,
Dave

I would say no trolling due to the rain and the runoff it makes the water murkie.

We will be in the boat. Thinking about trolling needlefish on leadcore along with something closer to the top.
Option 2 would be to drift or anchor near shore.

Troll Rapala CD 5's on top in any color... Got one on a Needlefish early in the morning, but the Raps work much better!

Good Luck and stay warm and dry!

Any size to them or just the standard 1 to 2 pounders?

Love those mirra shads...orange and hot pink.

Just follow Steve and Brandon around , you will get skunked for sure ,

Just kidding, listen to Steve , Brandon is to busy taking hooks out of his fingers.

As stated above , do not overlook the shallow troll , despite the murky water.
